<p>A building block comprising, on the one hand, joining means adapted to enable it to be laid dry and, on the other hand, at least one cavity (13) adapted for the possible introduction of any desired filling after laying, the said joining means comprising an annular joining projection (15) which circumscribes the cavity (13) at the upper opening thereof and a system of joining ribs (16), which extend radially with respect to the annular joining projection (15) and to which joining grooves (17), provided for this purpose on the opposite laying face, are complementary.
