PURPOSE:To simplify installing operation, make the inside of a room larger, and improve appearance by drawing in a part of the skin member of a roof lining into a recessed part while pressing the part with a seaming welt, and fitting said seaming welt into a body flange part. CONSTITUTION:A skin member 5a which is previously formed larger than the outer periphery of a base material, is applied to a recessed part 4 between a body flange part 2 which is formed by a reinforcing roof rail 1a positioned inside a roof plate 1, and a projected part 3 toward a room side A. And, this skin member 5a is pushed into the recessed part 4 while being stretched by means of the seaming welt 6, and the skin member 5a is fixed in an integrated form with the seaming welt 6 into the recessed part 4. Due to such a fixing method, an installing operation can be simply carried out at a low cost. And, further, since the seaming welt 6 disappears behind the skin member 5a, the roof surface inside the room becomes larger, improving appearance. |
