Sole for sports shoe in particular for use on hard tracks, which has an interchangeable spring push-off knob (1) made of elastically flexible material (7) in the centre under the sole. As a result of the interchangeability of the spring push-off knob (1), it can be adapted in height and hardness to the respective body weight of the runner. For fastening the spring push-off knob (1) on the running shoe, a dovetail-shaped suspension is applied (push on) under the sole (Figs 4-7). The spring push-off knob (1) is secured by a hemispherical lock (Figs 4-7). Advantages: greater efficiency of the absorption of running impacts and better running characteristics for maximum speeds. <IMAGE>
