PURPOSE:To improve the track positioning efficiency and at the same time to easily secure a state the best magnetic connection is obtained, by performing a process within a magnetic field to match the magnetic head core members with each other after the track positioning job is carried out so that the soft magnetic materials are set opposite to each other. CONSTITUTION:A nonmagnetic material 2 serving as a gap spacer is formed at a front gap part 5. Then the track positioning job is carried out so that the soft magnetic materials 3 are set opposite to each other and the magnetic head core members 1 are matched with each other within a magnetic field. When a magnetic field 6 is impressed to the member 1, the material 3 is magnetized according to the magnetic properties and the attraction 7 is produced between the materials 3. Thus the member 1 moves to a position where the material 3 are set opposite to each other by said attraction 7. The material 1 is stopped at the most stable position, i.e., a position where the best magnetic connection is secured. The materials 1 matched with each other are fixed with pressure and then bonded to each other via a cementing material. |
