An axial flow pump includes a housing supporting a tubular, electric motor driven pump body for rotation about an axis, and a plurality of impeller units detachably supported within the tubular pump body. The impeller units are constructed to provide a substantially unobstructed axial pumping passage through the pump body and are removable from the pump body without requiring disassembly of the pump body or the housing. |
