Mounting is a problem in the case of a pipe connection with threaded ring (5) for a housing (2) with integrally formed connection stub (1), in which there are inserted, into a circumferential groove, bow pieces (3, 4) which project radially and rest on an inwardly projecting collar of the threaded ring (5). The invention proposes that the bow pieces (3, 4) be provided with an external thread and the threaded ring (5) have an internal thread which fits said external thread, and that at least one bow piece (3) be prevented, by means of a locking member (15) which is designed to rupture, from rotating about the connection stub (1) until, during the mutual screw-connection, the threaded-ring collar comes to rest on the bow pieces (3, 4) and the locking member (15) is sheared off. The locking member (15) may be a pin or other protrusion and may be integrally formed on the connection stub (1) or the bow pieces (3, 4). <IMAGE>
