Tension- and compression-proof strutting for channel sections

In tension- and compression-proof struttings for mine support, the ends of the spacer bars made from angle sections are each adapted to the flank of the support section with a recess arranged in the web. Furthermore, the angle sections have a flange extended up to the centre of the back of the support section. In each case two spacer bars are fastened to a support section by means of a strap overlapping the ends of the spacer bars and the support section and by means of hook bolts, reaching behind the support section, and nuts at the support section. To increase the functionally dependent clamping action, the web (3) of the spacer bars (1, 2) is provided with a widened portion (9) extending the recess (8) up to the centre of the back (7) of the support section (5), and the end of the flange (4) is provided with a bend (10) directed towards the support section (5) and corresponding in depth to the widened portion (9) (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
