In the production of two-dimensionally extended fibre-composite laminate mouldings, to prevent local impregnation defects and the formation of voids, according to the invention the impregnation of the fibre layers is carried out such that a scrim comprising a resin layer which is preformed corresponding to the contour of the moulding and is in the viscoelastic state and impregnated reinforcing fibres covering the resin layer on the surface is enclosed in a moulding tool and acted on with a precompression pressure effecting a venting for a duration dependent on the laminate thickness and the resin layer is simultaneously converted to a low-viscosity state by heating.
