摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance printing quality, by mounting a pulley gear coaxial to a carriage driving pulley and rotating in integral relation to said pulley to a bracket in a freely rotatable manner and meshing said pulley gear with a motor gear to mount a space motor. CONSTITUTION:A space motor 86 driving a carriage 85 is mounted to a plate 87 and a C-shaped bracket 92 is mounted to a stay 40 to support a pulley gear 93 and a drive pulley 94 on the same axis in an integrally rotatable manner. A wire 95 is wound around the drive pulley 94 to be stretched across left and right pulleys 96, 97 and mounted to the carriage 85. The projection 98 provided to the side end of the bracket 92 is engaged with a limit frame part 90 to mount the plate 87 to the bracket 92. At this time, a motor gear 89 is meshed with the pulley gear 93 and the habit of revolution around a screw 100 is imparted to the plate 87 to press the tooth surface of the motor gear 89 to that of the pulley gear 93 and backlash is eliminated therebetween.
