PURPOSE:To perform a recovery of steam drain contained in the discharged steam from a deaerator and a recovery of thermal energy of the steam by a method wherein the discharging side of the deaerator is communicated with the heater for feeding water through a gland steam system. CONSTITUTION:A deaerator 8 performs a deaeration of dissolved gas contained in the condensed water fed from a condensor 1 through water feeding heaters 5 and 6. A gland steam system has a gland steam adjuster 32 and a gland steam change-over valve 29 to cause a surplus gland steam to be guided to a condensor 1 or a water feeding heater 5. The discharged side of a deaerator 8 is communicated with the water feeding heater 5 through a gland steam change- over valve 29. In this way, a thermal energy stored in the discharged steam from the deaerator is recovered, a thermal loss in the cycle is decreased and the steam drain is recovered during cycle and then the water in the power generating plant can be saved. |
