PURPOSE:To prevent a corrosion of a valve rod and to enable a complete seal against interior steam by a method wherein an orifice is arranged in a leak circuit for use in conducting leaked steam from the valve rod of turbine bypass valve to a condensor. CONSTITUTION:A corrosion preventive device is comprised of leak circuits 19, 20, and 22 for use in guiding steam leaked from a valve rod 17 of a turbine bypass valve 14 to a condensor 11. In this case, the leak circuit 19 is provided with an orifice 23. Thereby, during a normal rotation of the turbine, when the bypass valve 14 is closed, wet saturated steam generated in a reactor 1 and passed through a high pressure turbine 2 and a low pressure turbine 6 is prevented from being flowed back to the bypass valve 14 and a corrosion of the valve rod 17 is prevented. When the bypass valve 14 is opened, a high pressure steam flowed around the valve rod 17 leaks to the condensor 11 through the leak circuits 19 and 20. |
