The transfer installation with a push-off device is to be used, on the one hand, to guarantee, by way of a rolling pallet, fast and safe loading and unloading from the motor lorry via a bridge and, on the other hand, the installation is to make possible the simultaneous loading of a container and, by means of the push-off device, ensure the recovery of the pallet. In the case of sensitive freights, the container support can be inclined in order to cancel out the friction forces to a great extent. The transfer by way of the rolling cargo pallet is to a great extent independent of the composition of the freight. The advantages of this installation lie in the reduction of the handling costs (for example transportation of empty containers from the depot no longer applies).
