A method for stabilizing the effective ingredient of a compound for oral application which contains tocopherol, glycyrrhetinic acid or a derivative thereof and an anionic surfactant, which also includes the combination of a non-ionic surfactant. The tocopherol, glycyrrhetinic acid or derivatives thereof are stabilized, in spite of the presence of the anionic surfactant, because of the combination of the non-ionic surfactant.
