发明名称 STEREO MEASUREMENT SYSTEM FOR DIFFERENCE IN LIGHT INTENSITY
摘要 PURPOSE:To correct a reflectivity map for direction determination of picture element automatically from an observation image by generating an evaluation function on the basis of the redundancy of >=3 input images, correcting the relational expression of the images so that the evaluation function is minimum, and correcting the reflection factor map. CONSTITUTION:When light sources 2, 3, and 4 are at a 120 deg. angle to one another and illuminate a sample 6, a reflection factor maps are as shown by 33, 34, and 35 using equal-brightness lines. In this case, the equal-brightness lines are rotated by 120 deg. in a p-q plane. Then, equal-brightness lines based upon respective functions of brightness of thd same picture element of three images photographed while only one light source is on cross one another ideally at one point, and consequently the direction of picture elements are determined. The equal-brightness lines do not cross one another at one point because of inaccuracy due to changes in observating condition, etc., and it is expected that there are many intersections; and the degree of the inaccuracy is expressed as the sum of the squares of distances among the most closest three intersections. This is utilized as an evaluation function for each function type at the directions of picture elements are determined more accurately by minimizing the degree to correct the reflection factor map.
