PURPOSE:To increase the strength of soil and stabilize the soil without increasing the amount of hardeners, by using a grout containing a calcium salt such as calcium carbonate as a gel-strength increasing agent. CONSTITUTION:Calcium sulfite, II-type anhydrous gypsum, and/or calcium carconate are added, as gel-strength increasing agents, to a grout composition containing water glass such as No.3 sodium silicate as a main constituent, and cement, lime, gypsum dihydrate or gypsum hemihydrate as a hardener. The grout is impregnated in the ground, or mixed with soil and gelled to stabilize the soil. |
