<p>An infant seat (10) which serves as a rocker, car safety seat, carrier and swing seat includes a plastic shell having a seat portion (14), a backrest portion (16) and a pair of hook members (54) for threadably receiving and retaining a seat belt. A foldable rocker mechanism (84) is coupled to the shell and is latchable in one or more positons so as to rockably support the seat on a flat support surface or provide a stable support for the seat on a car seat. A handle mechanism for carrying the seat includes a handle member rotatably coupled to the shell and latchable in a forward position. A bail is attachable to the handle so as to support the handle swingably from a wind-up swing mechanism when the handle is in the forward position.</p> |
