This junction terminal has three clamping jaws which can be clamped together by means of screws and in which parallel channels (which are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the terminal) are cut out for the main conductor and the branch conductor, at least one contact piece being arranged in the branch terminal, which contact piece is provided with teeth which, after passing through the conductor insulation, produce an electrical connection between the main conductor and the branch conductor. In order on the one hand to distribute the pressure exerted by the screws in this junction terminal uniformly and, on the other hand, to save metal for the contact pieces, the invention provides that the contact piece 7 is configured roughly in a C-shape in plan view, with the web running at right angles to the two conductors and the two limbs being fitted with rows of teeth, which are known per se. <IMAGE> |
