<p>PURPOSE:To inhibit the torque shock of a motor on stating by mounting a nonlinear type resistor between an armature of an exciter and a field winding of a generator. CONSTITUTION:A diesel engine 1 is run at a constant speed at every notch by the indications of notches for a master controller. Power generated by an exciter 3 is fed to a field winding 10 through a nonlinear type resistor 11. A DC motor 14 is supplied with power generated by a separated exciting DC generator 2. Field currents flowing through the field winding 10 of the separated exciting DC generator 2 are inhibited because the resistance value of a nonlinear resistor 12 is high on starting. Accordingly, sudden torque fluctuation can be suppressed on starting, thus reducing a torque shock, then smoothly operating the DC motor 14.</p> |
