PURPOSE:To enable the arbitrary determination of the movement of a neutral point and the position and value of the distribution of residual magnetic flux between magnetic poles of a material to be magnetized by magnetizing a high- permeability material having a predetermined shape obtained by analysis of a magnetic field with the material being in close contact therewith. CONSTITUTION:A desired distribution of magnetic flux is magnetic-field analized by a finite component method or Galerkin's method, Newton Raphson methods, etc. As a material to be magnetized, for example, Alnico 5 of bar form with 12mm diameter and 100mm length is used and as a high-permeability member, for example, a pure iron ring is used. At magnetization, an exciting coil is arranged on a circumferential plane inside an iron yoke by an usual technique and the material to be magnetized 1 is combined with the high-permeability member 2 which are arranged in the yoke. A direction (D) of a magnetic field is determined in a direction of an arrow and a D.C. current of 3.2kA is made to flow in the exciting coil in a moment. |
