PURPOSE:To improve the rate of operation of a forming press by obstructing an adhesion of a raw material onto a forming surface, by providing an oil applying member which can move forward and backward, between an upper die and a lower die, and moving the oil applying member along the forming surface of the die, when taking out a formed part, or in the course of a cycle time of a supply of the raw material. CONSTITUTION:A metallic die oil applying device 19 is installed and provided on a supporting frame 16 of an ejecting device 8 of a forming press. The device 19 is provided with an oil applying roller 20 which has been formed by winding a sponge to a roller body having a center hole. Before a forming work, oil of an oil cup 34 penetrates the whole periphery of the sponge surface by a rotation of the oil applying roller 20. Subsequently, when a formed part 9 is formed in upper and lower dies 4, 3, the ejecting device 8 is operated, and the oil applying roller 20 applies oil to forming surfaces 4a, 3a in the course of a takeoff cycle time. In this way, an adhesion of a raw material to the forming surfaces 4a, 3a can be obstructed, therefore, a formed part of a non- defective can be formed, and the rate of operation of the forming press can be raised. |
