PULSE SIGNAL FREQUENCY MEASURING INSTRUMENT

PURPOSE:To improve possibly the measuring accuracy by storing plural counts counted in a basic unit time and adopting the constitution that the frequency is calculated based on the count number selected in response to the timewise changing state of the count. CONSTITUTION:A pulse number count means A counts the input pulse number per basic unit time of a measured pulse signal and plural number of newest and preceding counts are stored by a count storage means B. The timewise changing state of the count (that is, frequency changing state) is detected by a count changing state detection means C based on the plural counts stored in the count storage means B. Then a frequency calculation means D retrieves the required count number for frequency measurement from the count storage means B based on the count changing state and a frequency of a pulse signal is calculated from the retrieved count.
