PURPOSE:To make temperature distribution uniform and make current density distribution equal by perpendicularly intersecting oxidizing gas and fuel gas which flow with a unit cell and a separator interposed, and countering each of oxidizing gas and fuel gas which flow with a unit cell and a separator interposed. CONSTITUTION:Gas passages 6 formed on the upper surface of a separator 4 and gas passages 5 formed on its lower surface are perpendicularly intersected so that oxidizing gas OG and fuel gas FG which flow a unit cell interposed are perpendicularly intersected, and parts are sequentially stacked. A supply passage hole and an exhaust passage hole of oxidizing gas are separately arranged in the counter part of the periphery of an electrolyte plate 1 and a separator 4. A supply passage hole and an exhaust passage hole of fuel gas are separately arranged in the counter peripheries of their 90 deg. shifted sides. Oxidizing gas OG-1 and fuel gas FE-1, and oxidizing gas OG-2 and fuel gas FG-2 each of which floss in each stage with electrolyte plate interposed are perpendicularly intersected. At the same time, oxidizing gasses OG-1, OG-2, and fuel gases FG-1, FG-2 in each stage are countered. Thereby optimum temperature is made uniform over the whole surface and high current density and high performance can be obtained. |
