PURPOSE:To start automatically a host computer from a terminal device at a remote location by adding an automatic start function of the host computer to a communication processing equipment. CONSTITUTION:A host supervisory control section 12 detects the pause state of the host computer 7 and informs it to a communication control section 11. The communication control section 11 receiving the notice of a pause of the host computer 7 transmits/receives data according to the communication rules with a terminal device under the control of a start command reception section 13. When the start command 13 receives the operation request of the host computer 7 from the terminal device, it is informed to the host supervisory control section 12 and the control section 12 commands the start of the host computer 7 to an automatic operation controller 8. When the start is finished by the controller 8, it is informed to the control section 12, the control section 12 informs it to the communication control section 11, which is restored under the control of th host computer 7. |
