This invention relates to polyester fiber which is dyed at normal pressure, below 100 ≦̸C, without carrier. Polyester is prepd. by the reaction of terephthalate(or dimethylterephthalate) with ethylene glycol. In this reaction, isophthalate containing metal sulfonate group and alkoxy polyalkaleneglycol are added and are copolymerized. Polyalkylene glycol are added and are copolymerized. Polyalkylene glycol content is 0.3-3.0 mole% and isophthatate content is 1.5-4.0 mole%.
