<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the fitting into an installation hole by forming a blind hole at the center part on the undersurface of an insertion part into a circular conical form having the larger diameter on the opened edge side and the smaller diameter towards the innermost edge part. CONSTITUTION:A grommet 11 is made of the soft material such as plastics and rubber, and has an insertion part 2 continuously formed at the lower edge of a noninserted part 1, and a blind hole 4 is formed at the center part on the undersurface of the insertion part 2. Said blind hole 4 is formed into circular conical form in which the opened port edge side has the larger diameter, and the innermost edge side has the smaller diameter at the center part on the undersurface of the insertion part 2. When a force is applied onto the upper surface of a boss part 5, said pressing force is smoothly applied onto the top edge of the insertion part 2 through the peripheral surface in circular conical form, and the diameter of the insertion part 2 is contracted, and the insertion part 2 is fitted into a grommet installation hole 10.</p> |
