<p>PURPOSE:To treat the ash discharged from a boiler at a low cost by mixing the furnace bottom discharge material discharged from the bottom of a fire furnace and the fly ash collected from combustion gas and discharged, adding water to the mixture composed thereof and solidifying the mixture. CONSTITUTION:Coal and carbonaceous materials as fuel are burned in a fluidized bed 3 formed by a fluid material contg. limestone as a desulfurizing agent in the fire furnace 1 and the water is heated by the heat and combustion gas obtd. by such combustion to generate steam. The furnace bottom discharge material discharged from the bottom of the fire furnace 1 of such fluidized bed combustion boilder and the fly ash collected from the above-mentioned combustion gas and discharged are mixed and the water is added to such mixture, by which the mixture is solidified. The ash discharged from the fluidized bed combustion boiler which is heretofore difficult to be treated is solidified and is thereby easily treated at a low cost according to the above-mentioned method. The treated ash is made effectively utilizable, for example, for aggregate, etc.</p> |
