This apparatus is concerned about the deck driving system of an answering phone, which regenerates or records the message sequentially in one's absence. A reel(2), which has extruded jointing pieces(3) on the reel shaft(21), and a head assembly(27) jointed to the supporting shaft(26) of a inducing plate(25) are fixed on the board(1). A head assembly guide plate(22) is jointed with an acting bar controlled by a solenoid(9). This assembly moves the head up and down. A lever spring(15a) is established in the circular cam(15), which has hollowed portions(13,13',13") jointed with the asist gear(11). The solenoid controls the stopper, which is made on the projectors(14) of the asist gear.
