PURPOSE:To obtain low fat and oil-containing edible wheat bran for fibrous foods, having improved flavor and improved shelf stability, obtained by washing wheat bran with water and de-fatting it. CONSTITUTION:Wheat bran, the rest after removal of endosperm and germ part form wheat grain, is washed with water and de-fatted, to give low fat and oil-containing edible wheat bran. |
