摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To efficiently accelerate the dissolution of copper at an increased reaction rate by forming a galvanic cell in an acidic electrolytic bath with the copper as the negative electrode and an oxygen electrode as the positive electrode and producing DC between the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Copper and an oxygen electrode are placed opposite to each other in an acidic electrolytic bath and a galvanic cell is formed with the copper as the negative electrode and the oxygen electrode as the positive electrode. When the electrodes are connected with a conductor, DC is produced and the copper dissolves in the electrolytic bath. This dissolution reaction proceeds smoothly unless the electrolytic soln. loses its acidity. The area and number of the copper and oxygen electrode may be increased so as to dissolve a desired amount of copper with desired DC. By this method, copper can be efficiently dissolved.</p>
