PURPOSE:To always enable a water emulsion combustion to be carried out with a suitable viscosity without decreasing a temperature of fuel by a method wherein a temperature of added water is kept more than a specified temperature and a temperature of liquid fuel is controlled to be fed back in such a way as the water emulsion may show a proper viscosity. CONSTITUTION:Liquid fuel and water are premixed at a T-shaped pipe 5, mixed in a static mixer 6 to become water emulsion, introduced into an atomizer 7, atomized with either steam or high-pressure air 17 and then injected. During this step, water in a service tank 8 is increased in its temperature while being controlled with a temperature adjusting valve 15 by using steam 18 in such a way as a temperature to be sensed by a thermometer 14 i.e. a temperature of added water is more than 90 deg.C. An electrical resistor 12 is controlled in feed-back with a temperature adjuster 13 in such a way as a sensed temperature of the thermometer 11 installed between the T-shaped pipe 5 and the static mixer 6 shows a proper viscosity of the liquid fuel. |
