PURPOSE:To ensure an even width for a driving pulse and to prevent the generation of noise, by catching the signal pulse that emerges first after a temporary change pulse is generated to obtain an actual change pulse and then switching the frequency of the driving pulse by means of said actual change pulse. CONSTITUTION:A means 12 produces a reference frequency signal which is sufficiently higher than the frequency of a driving pulse of an analog shift register. A preset type counter 13 can divide the reference frequency signal with different ratio of division. A means 18 produces a temporary change pulse which decides a standard time to change the set value of the counter 13. Means 15 and 16 catch the output pulse of the counter 13 that is generated first after the temporary change pulse is generated. Then means 19-22 change the set value of the counter 13 at a time point when the output pulse of the counter 13 is generated. The frequency of the output pulse of the counter 13 is switched with each change of the set value. This prevents that the width of the driving pulse given from an FF9 becomes extremely uneven.
