摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient clamping force without the need of the large torque for a motor by driving a crank shaft by a servo motor, while fixing the crank shaft of a crank to a rear platen in a freely turning manner and further fixing a crank pin and the cross head of a toggle mechanism to the rear platen in a freely turning manner. CONSTITUTION:When a servo motor M is driven to move the crank pin 10 of a crank 6 to the position of upper dead point, a double-toggle mechanism 3 advances a moving platen 1 and elongates a tie bar and then clamps a mold by its reactive force. When the mold is clamped in such a manner, the displacement amount of a cross head 12 is smaller than the displacement amount of the crank 6 driven by the servo motor M, whereby the torque of the servo motor M is increased and transmitted to the cross head. Said torque is further increased by the double-toggle mechanism 3 and clamps the mold.
