MULTIFUNCTIONAL CLONING VECTOR HAVING HIGH SAFETY

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a multifunctional cloning vector functioning in Bacillus, Pseudomonas and E.coli and exhibiting one or more drug resistance functions in each strain. CONSTITUTION:A replication fragment of plasmid PMS71 originated from Proteus mirabilis is linked with a replication fragment of plasmid PMS140-1 originated from Bacillus sereus on the same plasmid to enable the replication in Gram- positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria. A drug-resistant gene of a Gram- positive bacteria is linked to the above plasmid to effect the expression of the drug resistance on each bacterial strain.
