发明名称 STEERING ANGLE DETECTOR FOR VEHICLE
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve accuracy in neutral position and steering angle by calculating a neutral position from a pseudo one obtained from steering information and an approximately neutral one of a steering mechanism to figure out a steering angle with reference to this neutral position. CONSTITUTION:Detecting signals D1, D2 of a steering angle detector 3 and a detecting signal DN of an approximately neutral position detector 4 are sent to the input of a controller 8 together with a vehicle speed detecting signal DV. A calculating section 22 of a microcomputer 20 calculates a pseudo-neutral position QCA according to a predetermined program. And a neutral position QC is determined from an approximately neutral position detecting signal DN and a pseudo neutral position QCA. And steering angle information D1, D2 are compared with this neutral position QCA to calculate a steering angle theta. Variable damping force shock absorbers 27a-27d are controlled by this steering angle thetafor roll control. Thus, accuracy in the neutral position and steering angle can be improved.
