In the case of concrete structures, retaining elements equipped with steel connecting members during the provision of the first part with shuttering are introduced into the shuttering in order to connect two adjacent concrete parts. Two retaining elements which are arranged in parallel and at a distance from each other are often necessary. In the case of the device according to the invention, there is provided, in order to close off two or more retaining elements, a shaped body (1) which at the same time forms the cover (3) of a retaining element (2). The shaped body (1) is provided, between two retaining elements (2), with profilings which run transversely to its longitudinal axis, as a result of which toothings which are capable of bearing loads are formed between two adjacent concrete parts. For different distances between the shaped bodies (1), the latter can be divided in the region of the profilings, the resulting edge regions overlapping to a greater or lesser extent depending on the distance of the retaining elements (2) (Figure 1). <IMAGE>
