Bicycle standing for the mutually-opposed accommodation of two bicycles and for the formation of sets of bicycle stands by the firm but releseable connection of a number of bicycle stands as described in the invention. The bicycle stand consists preferably of a vertically arranged spiral section (1) of annularly bent tube or solid material (metal, plastic, shaped wood or other rigid weather-resistant material), which stands on the ground with ends (2) and (3) and whose height corresponds to the average height of the regions of the column tube/handle bar shaft and saddle-support/top part of the rear fork strut of commercially available bicycles. Fixed to the opposite curved parts of the spiral section (1) and in its lower region is located the connection strut (6) with angle pieces (7) and (8). The spiral section (1) is right- or left-handed. On its ends (2) and (3) can be fitted fixed but releasable end pieces (4') and (5') or spacer connection pieces (11, 12, 13, 14) which can have any desired shape. In a modified embodiment the bicycle stand according to the invention has, instead of the spiral section (1), the shape of a trapezoid (1'), rectangle (1"), square, triangle or other geometric shape with curved side-members. |
