PURPOSE:To provide an inverter air conditioner which constantly produces a low noise by avoiding an operation at a resonant point and has a high reliability by providing in the inverter air conditioner a knock sensor for detecting the vibration level of a compressor, and a frequency changing means for changing an operating frequency in accordance with the output of the knock sensor. CONSTITUTION:A knock sensor 1 detects the noise of a compressor 11. when a gate circuit 2 detects a vibration which is more than a preset level, a gate is opened, a frequency stored in a memory 21a is written into a memory 3. When frequency changing means 4 detects a vibration having a level which is greater than a level to which the knock sensor 1 is set, an operating frequency written into a memory 21a is changed. Comparison means 5 compares the operating frequency written into the memory 21a with a noise frequency written into the memory 3. When both frequencies are coincident with each other, a predetermine signal is output to frequency changing means 4 thereby to change again the operating frequency written into the memory 21a. |
