<p>Compositions which contain lipid containing molecules possessing angiogenic activity. The lipid containing molecules have been found in mammalian tissue, particularly the omentum, of various animals. Additionally, known lipids, such as gangliosides, are unexpectedly found to possess angiogenic activity. A method for obtaining the omentum-derived lipids, and for use of these and known lipids, are disclosed as well.</p> |
