<p>Bridge and pontoon arrangement based upon a load vehicle unit (80, 90) comprising a rear wheel set (81, 91) and possibly a front wheel set as well as a tank (83, 93) for liquid loads. A middle portion of the tank is lowered in relation to the end portions of the vehicle. The upper side (84, 94) of the tank (83, 93) is substantially plane and has such a height from the ground (B) that it constitutes a load surface for other goods than said liquid loads. The load plane or surface (84, 94) comprises at least one longitudinally movable member (85, 95) which may be displaced completely or partly outside the load surface in order to form a ramp which allows driving on or off either in relation to the ground (B) or to a connected load vehicle unit (for example 80 to 90) of the same type. The main use of this arrangement will be for provisional bridge structures and the like for transportation in difficult and possibly roadless terrain, including the crossing of rivers, water and marshes. An important alternative and normal use of the load vehicle is for common land or road transport of goods, including liquid loads.</p> |
