Regulation method for boiling in water

When water is heated in a saucepan on an electrical heating plate or hotplate equipped with a temperature sensor, the use of a regulation method prevents the water boiling off as a result of too much energy being supplied. The method provides that the quantity of water is determined. The continuous temperature changes are then detected at fixed time intervals. As soon as at least two successive measurements result in a zero change, the power supply is restricted, so that boiling off does not occur.
