Monocomponent polyurethane adhesive comprising the reaction product of a polyurethane resin, having a content of free isocyanic groups of from l.5 to 8, with a polyamine and an epoxy resin, wherein the ratio of the number of isocyanic groups of polyurethane resin/moles of polyamine is from 0.8 to l, and the ratio of the number of active hydrogen atoms of the polyamine/number of epoxy groups of the epoxy resin is higher than l, and a process for preparing the same.
