PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of data to be memorized, by memorizing a wave height data sampled at a different sampling cycle while a data with the sampling cycle is memorized. CONSTITUTION:A memory 3 memorizes a wave height data and a sampling cycle at each sampling point of a waveform beforhand. A data structure to be stored stores an identification signal on whether it is the wave height data or the data of the sampling cycle at one bit and holds the wave height data and the data of the sampling cycle at another bit. When a speicified waveform is to be generated, a head address where the data of the waveform is stored and the number of sampling data are specified to a controller 1 and first, an address is set on an address counter 2 for the data to be read out of memory 3 from the controller 1 and the first data is read out of the memory 3. Thus, the reading of the pulse height data and the analog conversion thereof are repeated by the number of sampling data previously provided to the controller 1. |
