<p>PURPOSE:To calculate brake torque produced in a disc brake by using a load cell, and measuring a voltage change in a torque detection circuit. CONSTITUTION:The opposite arm portion of a torque arm 35 is engaged with a play stop piece 40 fitted in a play stop fitting hole 12 of a support 2. Brake torque produced by brake operation is transmitted as pressure to a load cell 29 through calipers 13, a slide pin 27, and a torque arm 35. Accordingly, the magnitude of brake torque can be detected from a voltage change caused in the load cell by a pressure detecting circuit connected to the load cell 39.</p> |
