PURPOSE:To improve a supervisory function for the abnormality of a system by recognizing the time over of a key input interval at a terminal equipment by a host device. CONSTITUTION:A terminal equipment 1 is equipped with an input device 3 and a data display part 7, and the transfer of data between a host device 20 is performed through a communication control part 2. Also, the equipment is equipped with a key input supervisory part 8 and an automatic log-off request generating part 13, and when a key input time value exceeds a prescribed time, it transmits automatically a log-off requesting message to the host. Thereby, the host can recognize the abnormality of the system and after the transmission of an alarm message to the terminal equipment, it cancels a long-on state. |
