PURPOSE:To improve the sensibility and durability by using a specified diazo compd. as a carrier generating agent. CONSTITUTION:A disazo compd. expressed by the formula I (wherein R is H, halogen, alkyl, or alkoxy; n is an integer 1 or 2; Cp is expressed by the formulas II, III wherein Z is a group of atoms necessary for constituting an aromatic carbocyclic ring, or an aromatic heterocyclic ring; Y is a carbamoyl group or sulfamoyl group; R1 is H, alkyl, amino, carbamoyl, carboxy, or ester of said carboxy group, cyano; A is aryl; R2 and R3 are alkyl, aralkyl, wherein each group may be substituted) as a carrier generating substance in combination with a carrier transporting agent. |
