<p>PURPOSE:To prevent theft of vehicle reliably by disabling a starter means when a driver or all crews have left the vehicle for more than predetermined time under engine stop condition while inserting an engine key into a key cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When functioning, a microcomputer 17 will first decide whether an ignition switch 12 is turned off or an engine is stopped and upon decision of engine stop, it is decided whether an engine key is inserted into a key switch on the basis whether the key switch 11 is turned on. If the answer is YES, it is decided whether a driver is seating in the driver seat on the basis whether a pressure switch 13 is turned on while if the answer is NO, a counter is incremented. Upon reaching to predetermined count, a starter-cut signal is fed from a port (e) to turn on a transistor Tr thus to open a contact 15b and to establish a starter-cut condition.</p> |
