PURPOSE:To increase the membrane area and filtrating amount and to provide the subject cartridge with interchangeability with the existing standard cartridge type micro filter by supporting and fixing the porous hollow yarn, in its open position, with the potting members in the space between the porous outer cylinder and the poreless inner cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The outer cylinder 11 having lots of liquid flow apertures 12 on its wall and also having the flange 13a, and the inner poreless cylinder 13, are set concentrically, and the hollow yarn membrane made of porous hollow yarns 14 bundled in a ring shape is placed in the space between the outer cylinder 11 and the inner cylinder 13 and supported and fixed with the potting members 15, being the end of opening of hollow yarn 14 left open. The filter liquid collecting chamber 16 is provided between the inside of flange 13a and the filter liquid outlet 14a along with the end face of the potting member 15. The cartridge 8 is placed in the housing 1 for the standard cartridge on the market. The liquid coming in from the inlet tube 5 flows outside of the outer cylinder 11, passes through the liquid flow aperture 12, and only the purified liquid permeates the porous hollow yarn 14, proceeds into the inside of hollow area and flows out of the filter liquid collecting chamber 16 for use.
