To bring goods stored on palettes (12) of the honeycomb shelving installation into a seizing position (12'), a conveyor (93) is guided along a fixed path (16, 16') along the front face of the shelves. A seizing support (91) moves (92/95) in the corridor in front of the shelves on rollers (311), in the loading and pick-up direction (91). The position of the seizing member (21) is height adjustable. This member is brought by the displacement of the support (91) against the shelf and by elevation of the support (91) into engagement with the front stop of the palette (12) and pulls the lifted palette out of the shelving. As a complement, an auxiliary support (94) may be provided. It comprises a height adjustable bracket to seize the rear end of the palette (12') when the latter is completely out. |
