<p>PURPOSE:To attain a compact and light-weight structure for a cassette tape recorder by revolving a supporter for a recording/reproduction head and an erasion head to perform the forward/reverse switching and shifting the head to put it through a through hole formed at the center of a cassette half. CONSTITUTION:A recording/reproduction head 14 and an erasion head 32 are set in parallel within a head supporter 33 and then loaded to a head attachment structure 34. Then the supporter 33 is turned by 180 deg. to perform the forward/ reverse switching of contact between a tape 38 and both heads 14 and 32 respectively. Therefore just one unit suffices for heads 14 and 32 when an automatic reverse action is switched between forward and reverse modes. This can simplify the constitution of a cassette tape recorder. It is also possible to set three heads for record, reproduction and erasion in parallel to each other. Then such a head supporter 33 is put through a head through hole 465 formed at the center of a cassette half 46. Thus the supporter 33 has a contact with the tape 38. In such a way, a compact and light-weight structure is made possible for a cassette tape recorder by putting said three heads through the head through hole.</p> |
