<p>PURPOSE:To detect the temperature of a material to be detected accurately, by subtracting the temperature of afar infrared fiber, which is detected by a fiber temperature detector from the output of an infrared sensor, into which far infrared rays from the material to be detected and the infrared rays from the far infrared fiber itself are inputted. CONSTITUTION:An infrared sensor 12 receives optical energy, which is transmitted through a far infrared fiber 10. The energy is converted into an electric signal, which is then inputted to a differential operator 16. The optical energy comprises the quantity of the light, which is attenuated during the transmission in the fiber and reaches the emitting end, and the optical energy, which is radiated from the fiber 10 itself. A fiber temperature detector 18 detects a temperature TP of the fiber 10 as an electric signal through a detecting part 20. TP<4> is obtained in a fourth power operator 22 and inputted to the differential operator 16 through a constant gain amplifier 24. The output of the differential operator 16 is inputted to a constant gain amplifier 26. The result is further inputted to a fourth power root operator 28. The fourth power root operator 28 inputs the electric signal corresponding to Ti into a temperature display device 30. The signal is converted into a temperature scale and the result is displayed.</p> |
